6th Annual Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival

Ready for summer yet? Don’t worry, it’s in sight – the 6th Annual Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival is this weekend!  Head down to Kenosha on Saturday, April 20 from 1-5 pm for cheese from around Wisconsin, some of the area’s finest beers and live music!

According to Travel Wisconsin, “This growing event, hosted at the ever-popular Brat Stop, includes some of the area’s finest micro-brews, a home-brew section, cheeses from around the Dairy State and live music. It is a benefit for the after-school programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.”

Live music will be provided by Beef Tea, The New Chevelles, and the Squeezettes.

Tickets are $40 per person if you buy them in advance, otherwise they are $45 at the door.  Every purchase includes a souvenir beer glass.  Designated driver tickets are available for purchase at the door for $15.  For more information and to purchase tickets, visit this website.



Madison Craft Beer Week

Are you a beer enthusiast?  Then you need to come to the third annual Madison Craft Beer Week!  The festival runs Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 12.  There will be over 100 events including beer samplings, cheese pairings and brewery tours.

Madison Craft Beer Week is an annual celebration promoting Madison’s thriving craft beer culture, enhancing beer knowledge and appreciation by sponsoring a ten-day (two weekend) countywide festival that attracts beer tourism, fosters knowledge of our regional brewing heritage, and serves as a showcase for the Madison area’s breweries, restaurants, pubs, caterers, retailers, entertainers, and other businesses with ties to the craft beer community. Craft beer lovers will have the opportunity to attend events ranging from beer dinners and food pairing to beer walks, bar promotions, brewery parties and plenty more!
